@vin_:

No other character had a gun except the maid, and so by process of elimination, it was the maid.
The maid shoots, the victim has a headshot, no other character with a gun and no need for much analysis.

A very rich man wanted to give all his money to his two sons.
He started a competition to do this, to see who is smartest.
He told both his sons:
"There is a race to compete for all of my money. The start point is here, the end point is North Carolina.
You will ride on camel.
Whoevers camel gets there fastest, gets the money.
Ready?
Set?
GO!"
The men slowly rode their camels, and stopped in Idaho.
They HAD to go faster.
They seeked the advice from a wise man by the name Jalon.
He told them something, and they raced extremely fast to the end.
What did he tell them?
spoiler:

He told them that the man said "camel." and told them to switch camels.
:D

rjgwapo -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (6/25/2011 10:44:50)

To switch camels?
I'm familiar of that riddle. [:)]

Qin -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (7/11/2011 10:32:05)

There was a girl.
One day, her cousin died and she attended the wake.
Then fortunately, she saw this man.
She was so much attracted to the man, and thought that he is the man of her dreams.
They chatted for a while, but afterwards, the man bid goodbye.
But the girl haven't gotten the dream man's name, contact number, etc.
Then the next day, the girl killed her sister.
Why did she do such?

BE HONEST, POST A GUESS FIRST BEFORE READING THIS:
spoiler:

To see the man again, she killed her sister

rjgwapo -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (8/8/2011 9:21:38)

I didn't really understand that. (I have read the spoiler already.)

Was the man her cousin's killer?
Was the man her sister's husband?

Anon Y. Mous -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (8/31/2011 0:45:08)

@rjpwapo: i think it was because the girl believed the man of her dreams would also attend her sister's wake if he attended her cousin's wake

Keanman -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (9/11/2011 13:52:51)

@Qin

She killed her sister hoping the man would come to the funeral. I was given this question before by a friend and got it right away. Then they told me it was a psychopath test and only a psycho would get it right. The funny part is this study was only done on inmates who are more prone to being a psychopath anyway.

I skipped all the answers above me and ignored the spoiler just so I could guess lol. I'm not sure if i'm right but I gave a humorist ghasp lol
Did she do it to cause another funeral, enabling her to see the man of her dreams again?

for second question, I would have to guess sunlight since it is in relation....

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

What becomes harder as it gets softer?

spoiler:

Sound.

The SOFTER it gets, the HARDER it becomes to hear.

DaiTigris -> RE: The Official Riddle Thread (3/7/2013 0:26:18)

Here's a little one I made up.
---

Two by two words come,
But where do they come from?

Weirdly jointed phrases,
shall make a poem of phases.

What sense will it make,
can you bake the cake?

What reason will you take,
what will you make?

Our game is two by nine,
will this be a sign?

Do you get it now,
Our little bow?

To simply be strange,
it is our range.

Distractions go on and rot,
but what's to say there all not?

Can you find the meaning to this riddle,
or will you be stuck in the middle?
spoiler:

The meaning of the riddle is Confusion.
