Cryoface hasn't moved much. He can't really keep up with the legged movement of a flesh-form, so he's not going to even try to participate in a battle of maneuverability.

By the way, Clyde, I believe the diameter of the Sky Arena is 100 feet (50 foot radius, with a 10 foot radius hole in the middle). TD and I have both calculated that the entirety of the arena is over 7500 square feet as a result, even.

I'm contemplating Cryoface thinking that Galvian's movement will serve two purposes: To close with Cryoface, but also to avoid the massive storm of arrows the Light contestant (I believe it's Lisa, Deehee's character?) is launching. On the one hand, Lisa is interfering with a fight, but on the other, Cryoface has already declared enmity against Galvian and can't afford to take his attention off of such a fast and agile mover.

It's actually 2400π square feet, which works out to approximatley 7539.8224 square feet.

So, slightly more than 7500.

He DID say "over 7500 square feet"... just so you know. ~TD

Sorry, Qb, but you won't be getting behind Lisa that easily. She hasn't moved from her starting position on the southeastern keystone. Directly behind her is open space off the edge of the Arena. She can see you well enough.

She's still boned, though. That spell she cast was a big one, and she hasn't practiced it much. She put too much energy into it.

I'll post within the next few hours. My muse is being stubborn and I need to think up an apropriate course of action.

EDIT: Posted. No magic also means her last-resort defense spell won't kick in, since she has no magical energy with which to sustain it. She is very vulnerable right now.

Doesn't matter, after a few more people post(Omf, FMA, Rayzer, and TD). I'll make my post, time to add in some Past flashbacks to sorta bring you closer to Galvian's history. :]

Ont- just a thought, with regard to Blaze's shield attack on Kalen- I sort of referenced in my post that if the general collision of warhammer on katana didn't throw off Blaze's secondary attack, Kalen would have to just trust his mithril vest to take the force of the hit.

My thinking is that given the speed the combatants are moving- and obviously depending on how you react to Kalen's own wooden stake attack, and assuming the shield continues along its current path to swing round to clobber Kalen's midriff- I'd quite like it if Kalen could be hit a glancing blow by the shield, not enough to cause serious damage, but enough for him to at least suffer a bit of bruising beneath the mithril. Would that be cool with you?

Edit: Thanks for the stats Clyde- I'm quite impressed that Spike has had that many hits, particularly as we've only 5 fighters left!

Mirai, yup, that's okay with me. I was planning on having the steak bruzing Blaze's cheeck (drawing some blood, a shallow wound, nothing serious), instead of totally blocking it. Is that okay with you?

I too am surprised that Spike has a lot of hits.

Also, out of curiosity, how can you tell how much hits a thread has? (Never knew there was even a count!)

Hmmm....I had a reason before as to why the resulting explosion caused by the thrown sphere was suppose to be small, but somehow I've forgotten that reason. (hopefully it won't do me that much harm).

This kind of thing is why not doing anything against a guy who attacks you is not such good tactics. Also not such good tactics is not even attempting to escape an obvious trap. It's not like it was impossible, just difficult.

And, of course, exposing your back to me when I'm not embroiled in personal combat... well. You two see the results.

Dang, it would be great to continue, but due to family concerns, (I do this regretfully) I must leave the EC. With school just over the horizon, and with me being so busy as of late, there really is no choice but to stop now. It was fun, but I hope you don't forget the Water-Eagle, for she will be back next year! Phork's location after my post is between Logain and the wall and between Blaze and the entrance. He's roughly 10 or so feet away from Blaze right now.

The meat chunks are about 2-3 lbs each.

Not cool, TD. That's the third attack Cryoface has taken that's "super effective" against him. X_X

By the way, the reason I edited was to eradicate the typo demons. I'm sure you guys understand how important it is in an event as big as this to communicate as clearly as possible. To be specific, I was having problems staying in the present tense in the first paragraph.

Old habits die hard. :/

Sorry for the delay Mirai, post up. Meh, that was not a good time to attack me, Xaxtoo! I had a hard time incorporating your attack into my post.

Anyways, Mirai, what I ment by exposed was that you had nothing left to guard against the attack, not that the area was not protected by the vest. If need be, I can change the terminology.

A slight quibble with your post ont: the heat from the meat does not go away, because Phork is still putting his energy into keeping in hot. Granted Kalen's gauntlet will have drained some power...actually, Mirai can describe it. The relevant part of pm

Ont- no problem regarding your description of Blaze's blow. Somewhat at the last minute, I realised that the blow could also have some effect on Kalen's balance, given he was originally running at Blaze, so decided it would trip him onto the floor. Which did have the upside of inadvertantly causing him to avoid the flaming meatslab.

Anyway, Kalen's building up his own electric energies, to launch his own (one use every thirty minutes- i.e. once per battle) version of a lightning bolt. Not that I've the foggiest idea who- Chad excepted- he's actually going to aim it at for the moment...

Well, that should make my decision about the forthcoming lightning bolt a bit easier :-)

Edited my post to have a reference to Kalen only just avoiding the flaming meatslab, and to still feeling the fire's intensity. I felt I was originally letting him get out of its path a bit too easily.

...Its just too bad Blaze has exhausted most of his magic, Mirai, its just too bad... Oh, and thanks for the quick reply. PM it is. What I'm thinking is I'll give you a draft post, and some pointers, and you can go and edit it to include your reactions, like a colab, or just telling me what happens, and I wright it down. Which one would you prefer?
