SDF -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:24:58)

OK if im a Striker, and use a gun, does the gun do weaker damage?

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:26:06)

No... Being a striker/gunner doesn't affect the damages of weapons. It only gets you a different default weapon and armor.

Other_Guy_27 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:35:06)

Are misc. items supposed to drain sp every turn or is that a bug?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:35:52)

The_Other_Guy_27

Yes they are supposed to drain SP.

vezha -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:36:15)

They're supposed to. If you look at AQ, all the recent Misc Items drain either SP or MP every turn.

Other_Guy_27 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:39:42)

Well it seems to me that renders the current ones pretty useless. They barely do anything and they consume a sizable chunk of sp every turn.

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:40:42)

The_Other_Guy_27

I prefer the Star Knight Hood and the WarpGuardian Helm over the other one's.

ferty157 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:42:59)

Can someone show a pic of Starknight armor?[:D]

SDF -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:46:00)

Really? Oh thanks then

One more question, did SR Series and Osprey Series get nerfed?

veritasthedragon -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:46:08)

Does anyone know if there is a stat cap for the stats? (Not like 50 for free players and 100 for guardians, obviously I know that.)

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:48:49)

SDF

Yes they did.

veritasthedragon

Well in AQ it's 200 so that might be the cap here. But since we can only get up to 100 its not confirmed.

SDF -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 16:49:59)

Aw man. Osprey and SR Series were my favorite [X(][:(]

Thanks Nightly and Moneybags

drakehello -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 17:00:36)

Is there any stat that increases the damage your gun does?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 17:03:37)

drakehello

No, guns aren't affected by stats. It is reccommended that you spend some stat points on Luck for Lucky Strikes.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 17:05:06)

@drakehello: No stats affect guns damage wise, but if you train DEX, BtH of guns will increase.

drakehello -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 17:06:45)

Ah, thank you guys!

dragonmechdude2.0 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:10:51)

does useing the "knee" attack on the warp trooper, hurt more than the normal attack?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:12:33)

dragonmechdude2.0

I'm going to assume that you are comparing this to the Striker's normal attack?

dragonmechdude2.0 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:14:27)

yes (if when you say "striker" you mean the normal attack of the warptrooper)

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:18:03)

dragonmechdude2.0

WarpTrooper

Hm, doesn't look like you all have anything yet. It's available from Tronzor.

The "gun" attack is listed GBR Base/Rand and listed Stat. The "physical"/"melee" attack is listed MBR Base/Rand and listed Stat.

There are four attacks - "Fire gun!"/"Single hit weapon strike!", "Weapon throw!", "Knee attack!", and "Gauntlet Blast!". There is a 50% chance of having all four available, and a 50% chance of only having the first three.

"Fire gun!" - as gun.

"Single hit weapon strike!" - one "physical"/"melee" hit.

"Weapon throw!" - one "physical"/"melee" hit, regardless of whether or not you wield a gun. The Type is changed to Ranged.

"Knee attack! - one "physical"/"melee" hit, regardless of whether or not you wield a gun. It deals *85/80 Base/Rand/Stats damage, but takes -5 BTH.

"Gauntlet blast!" - SP Cost: 0.75 * (38.1 + 2.3375*MLvl + 0.01125*MLvl^2), rounded normally.

Hits: 3
Type: Ranged
Element: «As Gauntlet»
Damage:
**Base: (4 + 0.5*PLvl + 0.005*PLvl^2)*(85/75)/3, rounded normally, each
**Rand: (13 + 1.25*PLvl + 0.005*PLvl^2)*(85/75)/3, rounded normally, each
**Stat: (200 + 8.8*PLvl)*(85/75)/3 %, rounded normally, each
BTH: [PLvl/4] - 10 plus Stats each
Note: This is treated as a Spell.

Lvl 3 12G 24 38G 18Z 56 58Z 70G
Price 63 77 139 425 800 2576 3450 3450

Attacks
MBR 136 204 215 286 305 335 395 399
GBR 118 208 223 325 353 398 491 497
Stat 142 241 257 362 389 433 521 527
BTH 0 2 3 5 6 7 9 9

This is the Warptroopers formula's.

dragonmechdude2.0 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:23:46)

so its weaker, AND does less Bth
nice
thanks :D

dragonbladesearcher -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:29:04)

I've upgraded to WG now and I enjoy it alot, but will you be making it so that we can switch out default weapons soon? Like in AQ?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 19:29:55)

dragonbladesearcher

Only the staff know.

Darkling -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 21:15:04)

Would an upgrade give me an easier time with the trainer?
Have not defeated him yet.

Ko, I still will buy one though thanx

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (7/23/2009 21:19:34)

Darkling

It would, but it's not worth buying an upgrade for the sole purpose of training your stats. Tronzor is being looked at to be nerfed as it is. So if you want to you can.
