I'm sort of new at guides......by that I mean it's my first one and i'm rusty on the rules so forgive me if i mess up. I will edit this in a sec. The Mecha Type for YOU! Table of Contents: 1.0.1: Introduction 1.0.2: The Main Types 1.0.3 The Sub-Types _______________________________________________ 1.0.1 Introduction Have you ever wondered which mecha is the best for you? Whether a power house, tanker, or a hybrid? Well, my guide will help you search for your perfect mecha!!! Before anything, here is some advice for me to give you: 1. BEFORE BUYING ANY MECHA, WAIT FOR THE ENCYCLOPEDIC ENTRY! This one's really important!!! Unless it's a 1 day mecha and you don't have the time, be patient and wait for the ability info on any mecha, this will help you from making horrible choices!!! 2. Decide what kind of a mecha you like. I will be making 3 Main types of mecha and a lot of sub-types of mecha, choose the one YOU like and decide if that mecha fits YOUR category! 3. I know rares may seem precious but when they get outdated and do nothing but hang in your inv.(especially important to non-mems)sell them. 4. Though you may favor a certain (sub) type of mecha, always keep the others in handy but in low quantities if you wish. Why? Well say you prefer offensive, what if there's a monster that can deal more of a damage output then you? I will be working on the Mecha Types next, give me a minute. _______________________________________________ 1.0.2 The 3 Main Types of Mecha 1. The Offensive Mecha: These Mecha often buff your offensive stats, use weapons to dish out MASSIVE damage, and the occasional immo resis lowering and stunning move. A perfect example is WarBear, it boosts accuracy and damage along with insanely overpowered weapons! These kind of mechas work best in quick farming when you have little time but they have a lot of trouble dodging, connecting hits, and normally, keeping a good amount of energy and hp. These mechas are for people who are often in a hurry, take risks on defence, and/or like massive annialation! I also suggest you join the house, wolfblade. 2. The Defensive Mecha: These Mecha Often buff your defence and lower your enemies damage and accuracy as well as heal you, have a lot of hp, and (occasionally) drain mp. The perfect example is Aegis, it nerfs the enemies bonus to hit as well as damage, has a reflection sheild, drains massive amounts of mp, do large dots, and heal. Now you may think, if it has so many abilities, what's the problem? The problem is damage. Though it make be very hard to kill, it takes much longer using these kinds of mechas to kill enemies. Other than Dot's defensive mecha's rarely have another type of a form of offense. Also, strong accurate mecha makes the abilites of nerfing void. In other words, your mecha is vulnerable. These mecha's are for people who want to enjoy the battle while it lasts, have a lot of time, like watching the enemies pathetic attempts to harm you, and don't care much for offense. I also suggest you join runehawk for this kind of mecha. 3. The Hybrid: This kind of mecha is my favourite. It may not Accel at any kind of battle but it's great at both! The perfect example is eagle(Though way overpowered). It's shoulders increase crit chance and activates a reflection sheild. It's head and body gives you accuracy and damage while it nerfs the enemies accuracy and damage, the back arm drains hp and mp over 3 turns and the front arm does bonus damage as well as dot. This mecha is literally perfectly even! What's the problem with this mecha? Well, like i said, it's great on certain things but it can't ACCEL on it. For example, against a really hard hitter, a hybrid is less effective in defence agaisnt it and will take more damage, against a super defensive mecha, it will take much longer than an offensive to beat. This Kind of mecha are for those who have both the qualities of a offensive and defensive mecha(aka. have an average amount of time, don't like to spend TOO much time in battle, like both good damage and defence) I recomend mystraven if you're a hybrid kind of guy. What they all share in common: Simple, they all share Dot's. Dot's may be one of the most important abilities in the game but it is often overlooked. It can give the offensive and hybrids extra damage therefore saving time and it can help the defensive with their damage problems. _____________________________________________________________ 1.0.3 The Sub-Types Note: I can't think of them all, tell me if i missed any. Energy Drainer/Defender: These types of mecha's focus on draining the enemies energy. What does this have to do with defence? Well if they are low on energy, they can't attack!!! This works well against monsters who use a lot of energy though i strongly don't recomend this build. Why? First of all, Immo resists Energy Drains now, also, energy draining weapons RARELY have strong attacks or defences while you are reducing their energy which means you would be a target until/if you finish draining their energy. The Nerfer: The name says it all, they don't focus on YOUR defence, they Focus on nerfing the enemies power and bonus to hit. When used well, they would normally not be able to hit you, but if they do, it barely scratches you! The bad news is farming is kind of slow and for those super accurate, power house mecha's, they can do a load of damage on you first before you can fully nerf them and even then, their effectiveness in power and accuracy is normally barely weakened.
