Raven Star -> Post Specific for AQW forums (10/29/2009 2:55:32)

I always see a resurgent in old posts ... repetitive posts ... and question whether or not there should be set posts that always remain at the top of the list.... as these seem to revive constantly

Gets cumbersome reading posts that differ in title but content is the same of ... say ... =AQW=Class discussion thread.. to a similar post of What do you like to equip....

Some of the main threads are:(just to name a few)

=AQW= Lets Party thread
=AQW= Class Discussion Thread
=AQW= Equipment Discussion Thread
=AQW= Gameplay Discussion Thread

I write this knowing that alot of clone post get deleted for similar and or same content ... but alot escapes the eyes of the mods [:D]

I also agree with BlueKatz posts to add more content beside the few examples that are contantly replayed in the forums.

The Braken Bard -> RE: Post Specific for AQW forums (10/29/2009 4:38:53)

Yes Raven Star, I do think that we do need to set some posts so that they don't end up so far from the first page. Another thread I do think we need though is the Quest Area Suggestions Thread. That is basically an official suggesting thread for areas in game and so far as I can tell the discussion thread for it no longer exists now.

Raven Star -> RE: Post Specific for AQW forums (10/29/2009 4:52:07)

so long as all the main threads have =AQW= ..... then set in place .... we won't have mods constantly deleting clone posts ... due to threads that are back several pages .... It does get confusing as forum rules state:

4) Do not bump "dead" topics
If a topic has not been posted in for 5 days or more, the topic is finished. Please don't post in it.

Conflict if ever I saw one ... lol ... guess rules are made to be /ignored ....

Curious .... very curious indeed!!! .... Why is it that the =AQW= (Dis)Accomplishments Thread is not in AQW mainstream chat along with it's other comrades? Meaning all other ... =AQW= Posts

Wxo -> RE: Post Specific for AQW forums (10/29/2009 14:21:51)

i agree with you on this one but you have to see it from the other point of view as well. some people want reconition for their creative threads. and get fustrated becuase all of their threads get tossed in some subcategory

Raven Star -> RE: Post Specific for AQW forums (10/29/2009 17:25:27)

Sorry ... meant Keep all =AQW= threads at the top ... threads that always seem to make a come back ... such as it may ... in no way or form should members feel they shouldn't post new threads ... I have seen alot of threads deleted and members mini modding directing players to threads already created ... think there are about 5 main threads? .... If they remain at the top of the list ... save mods deleting threads with same content. Good example =AQW= (Dis)Accomplishments Thread is not in mainstream chat ... several threads like this =AQW= that should also have a placement where I found Acconplishment thread.

Unfortunately ... AE rules ... I too had a post on what players had mainly in their inventory ... that got deleted ... I got a PM saying that it should of been posted in =AQW= Equipment thread .... still ... give players an idea of what not to post if threads are back several pages ... I just read a post where one guy collects pets ... I remember I used to collect all armors back in the day and classes ... used only 1 weapon ... Piston.

Popular Threads are okay,

And all Threads made by AKs get Bumped.

I really see no point in this Suggestion.

There are many AQW GD AKs that are all over the Time Zones and Lock the Duplicates.

Occassionly, yes, the Mods/AKs miss the odd Thread. But they're only human. (Hard to believe I know.)

All AKs can currently Moderate AQW GD so we can just PM an Online AK asking to look at a certain Thread.
