Cguy -> "Moderators" section links, on the main board (11/7/2009 7:36:39)

Well, I've just got a bit of a suggestion, regarding the "moderators" section (as in, to the right of the "Forum Description" section) links, on the main forum board.

For some people, these links can be quite useful (for contacting the moderators, just out of interest who they are, etc.)- however, currently, some of them do not work. For example, in the "Artix Entertainments News and Announcements" section, it states that the board moderators are "AE Admins". Of course, that's fine.

The problem comes if you click the link, it takes you to this page:

I'd hope you agree, that isn't too useful. That was just an example, but there are other links like this, such as "Adventure Guides", which have the same problem.

So, essentially, my suggestion is this. Instead of taking you to the "No record matches the search criteria" page, would it instead be possible to change it, so that it takes you to this page instead: AE Staff and Staff Assistants List

In my opinion, that would be more useful. Anyway, that's it. I'd be very grateful to hear your suggestions/comments. Thanks very much.

The link leads to a private group only viewable to forum administrators and those who are in the group; it is done so for group management purposes. To my knowledge, a link to a thread can't be added to the "Moderators" column.

There is a list of ArchKnights for the specific forum in almost every sub-forum, and also, the name of the Head Moderator of the forum can be found in the list. I think that list should be convenient enough for any member wanting to report a troublesome thread.

Ah, fair enough then, thanks very much for your quick response. I guess you're right, it's pretty convenient anyway.

If there's nothing that can be done, and it leads to something important for the admins of the forum, then the thread can be locked. Thanks again.

Lock requested. ~phoenixfire555
