How come there are only like 7 fonts and non of them look like the ones cetain Archknights use. Do ArchKinghts get special fonts?

The fonts listed under the "font face" menu are the ones default to the forums - you can actually use other fonts beyond those but they need to be defined by your browser.

If you open up your word processor and look at the fonts it has, most of those should work for the forums. For example:

test text
yields this:

test text

Behold my new Text. Is there anyway to make it so I don't have to keep making the text diff like make this my Default?

Do note that it is generally considered spammy when using font sizes larger than normal, as it is unnecessary many times.

There's no way to set a new default font, if you want to use it you need to add the tags manually everytime.

Also, as zeke pointed out, there's usually little reason to use increased font sizes and it's often seen as spammy - font size 4 is probably going to get your posts edited by an AK or mod to remove the size tags due to spam.

What if you have like a font face that appears super small (Like this and usually I have to goto a font size of 4 to make it actually show up well like this
(Testing testing)
)

If a font is so small that you need to be using size 4 to make it legible...you should probably pick a different font.

SirValor -> RE: Fonts (11/18/2009 21:43:06)

I've always wanted a unique font that looks fancy but all of them are small. >.> <.< <.> >.<

Most people on the forums will prefer that you just use one of the standard fonts (Ariel, Times New Roman, Calibri, etc.). They are universally legible; there are many who either can't read those fancy fonts, or just struggle. Then there are those who are just plain annoyed by fancy fonts.

You can use a different font if you really want to, but try keeping it a standard font. Having a post full of just curly writing that makes it difficult to read is a negative :/

(Psst: Suggesting fonts for each other would go through PMs ^_^)
