Eliminate -> Avatar ok? (11/23/2009 11:00:49)

I've sent a PM to seahawk with an Avatar. But he is not online, and I do not know when he will be online, so may I ask here if it is OK?

Its in JPG, 95X95 size, less than 10kb. It should be fine, right?

It seems that it's just a game screenshot with nothing done to it whatsoever, which is not really advised. That could be okay as long as there aren't too many pirate avatars, as there is only so much space in the folder and forumites like their avatars to be as flashy as possible, because that's how we roll.
Also, please try to send avvies in packs of about 10 to Seahawk. This makes it easier for him to add avatars in one go and gives you more chance of getting one of your avvies added to the forums.

I am sorry, but the avatar is not ok, it is ok in image and file size, but

Avatars are now being sent to Seahawk.
The rules are as follows:
1. Avatars MUST be AE related.
2. Avatars have to follow the regular avatar rules. 95 X 95 pixels and no larger than 10K, NO ANIMATIONS. .jpg or .gif only
3. Avatars can NOT simply be a cut out of AE art with nothing done to them. If we want some direct AE art we can easily add it ourself.
4. Please PM avatars to me in bunches of 5 to 10. I might consider uploading less, but I will not upload more.
All avatars must be in the same PM.
5. Do not PM me multiple times to ask when your avatars will be uploaded. I'll do it when I get to it. If I have multiple PMs about the same avatars, they won't be uploaded no matter how good they are.
6. Please PM me your submissions. I don't want to receive emails about this.

Please note that any avatars submitted become the property of Artix Entertainment and as such could be used in advertising or on the web pages.


Your avatar is only a screenshot, nothing more is done!

Its not a only a screenshot. Its 2 edited screenshots.
1 For the hat, I had to cut out everything around.
1 For the hair and character.
Which resulted in this.
But it had to be JPEG or GIF. I chose JPEG.

As you can see, the hat is on a hairstyle. It is not like that in the game.

What I'd say is make it more obvious that you've done something.
If in doubt, add a colorful background... that's how I used to work when I made avvies a while back.

I had this as the backround, but I was hoping for the beer to show atleast a little, but it didnt.
