@Legasee: I'm sorry to say this, but you have been misinformed. Recently, in a thread which I forgot, but I believe Ubear still remembers, Ubear directly asked Lord Barrius questions regarding The Sweep's effect on rares. Lord Barrius stated that rares will receive the same treatment as non-rare equipment. He declared that in order to survive in the Post-Sweep Environment you will have to use level-appropriate equipment. Lord Barrius stated that players using equipment that are at the same level as them will experience a 95% chance of survival. Players who use rares that are within 10 levels below their level will still be fine (their chances of survival in a battle will be a little less than 95%, which is still acceptable), however, rares that are more lower than 10 levels below your level will do you more harm than good; you will be handicapping yourself and you drastically lower your chances of survival. Using rares anymore than 20 levels below your level and you will find yourself dieing very frequently. What I said in my previous post: "Once The Sweep has swept all equipment, most of Evo's equipment will be completely useless", I said most of Evo's equipment (referring to his rares) will be completely useless, because he has Quindent, which is a level 125 weapon and is 10 levels below him; which is fine. Most of his rare equipment are higher than 20 levels below him. When The Sweep has "swept" all equipment and monsters, nearly all his rare equipment will be useless. The good news is that you can enjoy all your rares in the contemporary world. As we all know, The Sweep is at a crawling speed, because the KoO's main priority is the weekly releases; which takes the majority of their time.
