well, i cannot directly just teach you how to make weapons. you must have advanced programming/graphics skills to make decent weapons.
i recommend downloading GIMP and gimp.org.
i easier way to do it is drawing it on paper,scanning it, then editing it in flash or gimp by recoloring.
most weapons animators have alreayd went to college or atleast took 2or more years in computer graphics.

if you still wish to continue self taught (which isnt the best idea) by learning advance concepts in cs4 and gimp,
