does Role-playing mean when someone writes a story and then a few people just carry on the story? what does Role-playing mean? ( I dont get it...)[&:]

It means chosing a path of a character and leading your planned out destiny. Like if you wanted you could follow a spesific guide to the game that another had. Yeah, it's sorta like a story being continued.

Roleplay is like a story with multiple authors. You create your character and write in sequence of the story.

A role-play is where you pretend to be a character in a story. It's not a pre-written story in most cases (though some are highly plot-driven): Usually, you can do whatever you want within the context of the RP.
