He Who Lurks -> Thread Views (1/10/2010 17:34:54)

I would like it if the forums gave you the ability to see how many views a thread has.

Chii -> RE: Thread Views (1/10/2010 18:30:11)

This used to be allowed. All people did was spam the threads to get the view counter up and brag about the numbers in the thread title.

DragonUltraMaster -> RE: Thread Views (1/10/2010 18:33:25)

There was before a square that told us how many hits a thread had, but it got removed for some reason as I don't know.
Edit: Chii just said the reason xD

You can still see a threads views by going to the Most active Topics *I also marked it*
As you can see, it is at the buttom of the page, when you're clicking on "home" buttom above.

But exactly how to search for a specific thread, I don't know how to do. I've never done it before :p
Edit, Below: heh, thanks for the explanation, Moneybags :p, but this didn't really work.
Well, your explanation is perfect, but... It doesn't let us know how many either hits or replies the thread has. It only says N/A

Mmm, to look for a specific thread, find the thread's starter. Then, go to their profile (by clicking their name). Afterwards, click the View last 50 posts button beside the Total Post section (its under Member Stats). There, you can look for the thread the person made. There should be 6 sections -- Topic (the name of the topic), Forum (the forum it was posted in), By Author (the person who posted it), Replies (the number of replies in the thread), Hits (how much views) and Last Post. Look under hits and you should find the number of views.

Ebil Twilly -> RE: Thread Views (1/10/2010 19:22:44)

@above That method is flawed though. They may have made 50 posts within that time period so you will not find the topic. Both are good ideas though.

Sea -> RE: Thread Views (1/10/2010 19:37:42)

@moneybag & ebil

what you can do is search their name in the search tab and it shows ever post, Ive found threads from years back with that

etching -> RE: Thread Views (1/11/2010 21:24:13)

The easiest method might be the following link.
Replace "character" with a word in the subject title and replace the forumid number 42 (for AQGD) with the appropriate number.
