Comments And Criticism

Come, oh traveler, come to this abode,
through the lapping seas of imagination,
across the wondrous shores of dreams,
come by the wind, by the bird song.

let the music of your soul guide you,
across sea, land and sky,
open the wings of your mind and soar,
fly, fly, to your freedom.

Oh come, come to the house of song,
where lie the precious tales of men,
so come and listen, oh traveler,
to the melodies of time.

Mighty Dragon

The mighty dragon, with head held high,
stretches his wings and prepares to fly.
With a leap, a mighty roar,
the dragon begins to soar--
a streak of crimson against the sky.

Aggravated Programmer

PERL, JavaScript or PHP.
FORTRAN, VisualBASIC or C.
I really can't decide.
Client or server side.
Which is the right language for me?

Moonbeam

float through the sterling mists,
glide through the ebon night;
ride upon the swaying breeze,
sit upon the verdant leaves.

slither through the shadows dark--
sing a tune of silver bright;
dance across the budding black--
weave a thread of liquid light.

watch the silent starry ether,
see the gallant glowing stars;
feel the waning wintry zephyr,
hear the calming quiet night.

glowing with silvery hope,
shining through the morbid night;
lancing through the heart of fear,
harbinger of radiance--

MOONBEAM

A Silent Glade

A silent glade.
Amidst a sea of rippling green;
like a glittering pearl--
a jewel in the ocean.

Oh how the sun’s rays
embrace her with radiant beauty;
how the wind’s breath
brushes across her earthen face.

A silent sentinel--
guardian of the land;
a stronghold for the weak and old--
a welcoming home for all.

Come and sit
upon her flesh—
moist and soft,
and tender to the touch.

Feel her warmth,
her motherly embrace—
let her hold you,
in her loving arms.

Feel the wind upon your face,
the sun’s warmth upon your breast,
the cool grass beneath your back,
the gentle touch of nature.

Life

We all despise it.
Evil, Machiavellian--
The bane of all men.

We can try to fight,
To break through life's binding chains;
But it's all in vane.

Whatever we do
Life will tie us in ropes of
our mortality.

We can only hope
That one day our bonds will break,
and we will be free.
