PD -> A Couple Questions regarding PM's (2/7/2010 16:36:17)

Hello everyone. I have a problem - you see:

  • I sent a PM to Circe about something secret, but she did not even read it.
  • I Also sent a PM to Seahawk for a Name Change request

    The Problem is, they have not even read my PM's. I sent my PM's over 1 month ago, and I was wondering:

  • If they did not read my PM's, will they get to them eventually? ( I think they might have put my PM in a special folder, but I myself do not know )
  • And if they will not, what is the time frame I should send my PM's to them, because I really do not want to Spam their PM boxes.
  • I fully realize that with name changes, I have heard people saying it has taken over 5 months for a name change request to be done. However, Seahawk did not even read my PM. I know name change requests take a long time, but I am afraid he will not even look at it. Should I try to send it again?

    Thanks in advance!

    You're not the only one, because I also sent a PM to Circe a month ago, with no response. However I think they're just busy, eventually they should hopefully respond. I think you should just wait for a few weaks, then if it's still with no response, then send the PM again.

    Or try PMing Sir Gnome, or scakk, they're admins, as well as frequent on the forums. Tell them just to pass it on to Circe or Seakhawk.

    If it's not read, it was either not received, or simply not read.

    If they didn't receive them, there's a pretty high chance that they would see this thread, since they do come in here. If they did receive them, then the shiny yellow "New Post" icon will be irritating their eyes until they open up and read the message.

    It's possible that neither of them have even noticed they had a new PM. I set my...setting...to pop-up, and it sometimes fails to appear.

    They might also have put you on their blocklist, either accidentally or otherwise. Chances are slim, though. Oh well; maybe for future reference ^_^

    If they don't read/respond (either via PM or by directly answering in this thread) in another month or so...eh. I don't know how busy those two are, but I'm sure they are near the top of "most workload people" (slight exaggeration)
