Thank you, thank you. I’d like to thank all of those who helped support me in this struggle.
It was tough, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
A crowd this large stands before me, and yet I feel as if I’m the only one.
So, phantasmal friends, thank you. Your company is no longer needed.
At least when I’m alone I can talk to myself without being sneered at.
Talking to yourself is common enough.
You should only be worried when something talks back.
Company is dull, anyway. Nothing but conversations.
Tedious arguments, that lead like streets. The same dull neighbourhoods.
Same topics. “I just don’t have the belief to…You just have to take it on…”
Oh, shut up. The wall is a better listener.
Debates make for poor conversation.
It’s because of this that I stay on my own.

Poetry
As if I’m constantly sat,
Bereted, cigarette firmly in hand.
Sneering at the lower folk.
Lonely,
But rarely alone.
