Relentless -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/19/2010 13:02:53)

I hope you're better now, Eukara. :)

I'm not a fan of poetry, but I've read Fleur Du Mal poem, and I think it's great! Nice poem, Fleur Du Mal. [:)]

Fleur Du Mal -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/19/2010 15:46:37)

Thank you, Relentless, I'm glad you liked it. =)

I'm very eager to see what other stories will be sent in!

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/19/2010 21:35:38)

I did one better.

I present to you:

Book of Wishes and Luck

I am working on mine... but I have a problem. I am on page 5 and it isn't exactly done yet. [:(]

Reaper Sigma -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/19/2010 22:46:04)

Don't worry Euky. I'm on page six and nowhere near done. [:)]

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/22/2010 0:14:52)

I'm on page 1 and I've got a total of 0 words down. My writer's block isn't even letting me write poetry. GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR!

horusmaster9 -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/22/2010 20:28:13)

@alex: I had the same problem. That's why my story is only mediocre and I started when news of this book first came. Starting early does wonders... <.<

Hope more people submit by the end of this month... not-as-constant updates = :(
But still awesome additions, nonetheless. :D

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/22/2010 20:55:19)

I've managed to get about two and a half written pages done, so :). I'm going to get it in fairly late, but it'll be in.

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/22/2010 23:40:11)

I believe that this topic was a bit of a challenge, which is good. Being challenged only makes us better storytellers and writers. I do hope that more people send me stuff. I know of two people, aside from Alex, that are working on something.

I also have Torn's story on the chopping block and my own. So, there are 4 more waiting in some stage or another to make it into the book.

Hmm, we need more stories! Tragedies... who was it that wanted to write a tragedy? *Looks through thread*

Feoras ToxArch -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/22/2010 23:42:40)

I'm sure plenty of others will have their entries in before the due date. If all goes to plan and my work for the week is finished by tomorrow, then I'll have my part up by the weekend.

~Feo

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/23/2010 0:32:51)

Euk: The story that I've got down seems to be headed toward somewhat tragic. I'm not quite sure, I'm still getting over the block.

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/23/2010 21:49:38)

OK... how am I supposed to reduce a 9 page fairytale into a 5 page fairytale?!

And Alex, bring on the tragedy!

The Braken Bard -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/24/2010 3:35:48)

I can't believe how hard it is to write something about wishes and luck; still only got a vague idea of what I'm going to do D:

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/24/2010 3:47:38)

^^ You know what, I will! And just take out the "very"s and as many adjectives as you can get away with. If it's still too long after that, you'll have to actually cut the story itself, which would be tragic. *sighs* Can't have everything, I s'pose.

Reaper Sigma -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/25/2010 18:53:56)

Nearly done with my submission. Needs a bit of touching up, though.

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/25/2010 19:58:13)

Yay! More stories!

We are working hard to get my story shortened.... I think we have it down to 8.25 pages.

[:D][:D][:D]

Reaper Sigma -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/26/2010 14:56:38)

Wait...5 page maximum?

Looks like I'm going to have to do some editing.

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/26/2010 20:27:19)

My story is finished! I'm leaving the ending ambiguous because I don't know what would actually happen. I'll type it up and PM you a link, Euk. Still got your username and password from last time?

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/26/2010 21:48:46)

I am pretty sure I do, Alex. Go for it. I can't wait!

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/27/2010 14:21:12)

Yay! A new story!

My apologies Torn, your story has been ready for a while, but this was my last week for my classes and I had a ton of work to do to prepare for the presentations, finalizing my students projects and begin evaluations.

But... another story! More on Orvis and Torn. Nice continuation. This is one of those instances where I wish we did this each month, but I think I would exhaust all of you with all the writing. Though, in my mind, that somehow doesn't bother me...

alexmacf -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/27/2010 21:59:23)

I'll have the link PM'd to you within the next few hours, Euk. I think you'll like it.

Reaper Sigma -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/29/2010 6:09:31)

I've got my story down to 5 1/2 pages. Still need to edit more.

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/29/2010 9:08:31)

If you got it down to 5 1/2, Reaper, then don't worry about cutting more. Unless you need to do more editing.

I am struggling with my own cutting. Man it's hard.

The Extinguisher -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/29/2010 14:45:40)

Hey, March has 31 days, right?

I'll try and work on things today and tomorrow. I've been way to busy lately.

Eukara Vox -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/29/2010 22:16:24)

I GOT IT DONE!

With the help of my AKs, my story is now within range.

And yes, March 31st, midnight CST!

The Braken Bard -> RE: =Prose= The Book of Wishes and Luck (3/30/2010 4:39:06)

I just hope I can finish mine in time. Darn school!
