Tunnel Lord -> Access Denied (3/4/2010 0:09:56)

So for some pages when I click a link it will say "Access Denied". At first I thought that the links were broken, but the topics don't even appear anymore. Even the Universal Rules won't come up.

Some links are terribly out of date. One of my projects I should do is fixing the links. :/
The Universal Rules were updated recently. You can find it here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=17051217

Can you tell me which pages?

Some pages on the forum (the members list, for example) have different versions for regular members and moderators. So if we're writing a FAQ or linking to a page and use the link to ur version, you get an access denied message when you try to follow it.

Or, as Icy said, there are old links to pages that just aren't there anymore... so you get "access denied" because the page no longer exists, or may have been moved to a place where you can't see it for archiving purposes.

Either way, we can take a closer look if you can give us some examples.

One was "Zardwars Uber Character".

Actually, I can admit to being the reason a few things were fixed up.

Broken Link - Universal Rules - AE GD Rules - Omniguardian

Too Many Broken Links - RPA OOC - Krey

The problem you're getting is that all the old, important threads get shoved into the Stashed Stuff Forum (Don't ask HOW I know this, it was the solely functional one in RPA OOC Rules.) and they don't get updated. I think everything that was about a year old is at risk of not being accessible, as I think Mods can see it. AK's, maybe not. But no one lower can. That's the error you get.
