I wrote this up pretty quickly. It basically uses variables to create a "third axis" of movement in flash. you can only view it from a 2D top down view, though. swf link (to test out how it feels) (arrow keys to move, space bar to jump) flash download (CS4 only D:) I hope to get a more advanced version out with more coding explanations soon.
