Well, the last of the poems and stories made it in and we are in the process of finalizing the edits and giving you an interesting intermission in the middle. Call it an experiment that hopefully will prove comedic.

Anyway, what would you like to see as the next Book theme?

Choose.

Discuss.

Enjoy.

Now that this project seems to be successful, we want to give you the chance to help pick each month's theme. You will get 5 choices. Think about which you would rather do in May.

Ugh, part of me hates waiting a whole month. [>:]

Khimera -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 15:41:43)

I've always loved mysteries :-) I'll have to pay more attention to this book project...

andra2405 -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 16:17:29)

Book of War . What can be more interesting that that ?

Reaper Sigma -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 17:47:50)

Book of War. If there's one story I know I can do, it's about fighting.

Ilø€IMPERIAL€ølI -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 18:07:46)

Agreed. The Book of War, it has a catching ring to it, and it'll be interesting to write a bloodlusting tale. Not to graphic though. :p

alexmacf -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 18:41:22)

I've got a story already for the Book of War, so I clicked it. And The Book of War is just an awesome title; ask Sun Zu or whatever his name was.

raylas -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 19:05:09)

Mysteries is my vote.

Wonder what would happen if the next book wasn't the Book of War. [:D]

I can't wait until May. New Book, my birthday, Halo:Reach Beta, and my forum year-versery!

demolitiondragon -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 19:40:15)

Fur. Us lazy writers need a challenge away from our comfort zones. [;)]

Amboo -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 23:31:38)

I like the book of fur idea.

Postmaster General -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/2/2010 23:36:29)

Wow Mystery is a must!

May-steries! Although, witht the 5 page maximum, I might have to stop my creative juices from flowing. Perhaps I will just post a portion of my story?

Shreder -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 2:06:47)

I'd be ok with any of them, but I chose to vote for Children personally. [:D]

horusmaster9 -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 12:57:26)

Seeing as how the BoW (Book of Winter/Wishes/War... I see a pattern... <.<) has caught on, I think I'll vote for war. And I'll get working. Writer's block hits at the worst of times... <.<

joshdragon -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 13:06:56)

I definitely think it should be the book of fur. Seriously.

Jadugarr -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 14:52:18)

Seeing how there's no Book of Jadugarr, I guess I'll have to go with the next best thing.

Book of the Tides, please.

I know that feeling. Fortunately, I have been planning a story for this since it was first suggested. Yay pre-planning!

Myst Warrior -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 19:31:43)

I think book of fur is a good idea. it could be about an animal's survival in it's enviroment or something.
sounds interesting.

AQWlordshayne -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 21:25:07)

BOOK OF WAR!!! It's highly interesting.

Heh, does that mean there'll be a book of Wisdom? (Wait... the Bible already has one)

Nightly -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/3/2010 23:18:33)

Why must it be war? Bleh, War is so unoriginal to write about, at least with the others you can spin off into something different whereas war you always have dead people, obnoxiously power hungry people, and the odd character that shouldn't win but through some miraculous saving grace of providence does.

Meh I vote for the Sea.

Postmaster General -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/4/2010 1:24:28)

@Nightly: I agree, War has a very common theme, but the piece would not necessarily have to be about the violence of war. It is a powerful thing, it effects people both on the battlefield and at home. Stories could range from combat, to domestic chaos caused by deployment, and even politics to an extent. (All real life instances that could easily transfer to any kind of writing.)

As previously stated, I definately want a book of May-steries, but if I had to choose a different one, it would be Fur. A quirky idea, to say the least. But I think it would bring a lot of inspiration to writers, not excluding me! I could see poetry and prose branching out from animal perspective or the bond shared between animals and between animals and people. There is an infinite pool of ideas branching from the beast concept that nature provides us. And aside from nature, there is the supernatural idea of things such as unicorns, griffons, chimeras, etc. that would appeal to many writer-to-be's!

The Braken Bard -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/5/2010 8:18:41)

Book of War. At the least, it's not as difficult as doing a story about Wishes.

UrufuHiken -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/5/2010 10:10:26)

I've always wanted to try something on the sea or perhaps a mystery, but am still a novice in both those areas. I think I will have to go with war, but I intend at least to put a different perspective then "You see those guys? they're bad, go kill them."

Goldstein -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/5/2010 15:43:05)

It's elementary, my dear Watson!

MEGALUS -> RE: What should the next Book Project theme be? (4/5/2010 15:46:51)

Book of war[sm=YayImagaudian.jpg] as it is definitely a better theme for what majority of our community enjoys as opposed to some of the other topics *couch* child antics *cough*.[;)]
