The URL may be a little off.
When you are viewing the image you wish to link to, do not copy and paste from the URL bar at the top of the screen, instead scroll down the Photobucket page to a box on the left of the screen.
In this box, it will have places with text entered and labeled, "Direct Link", "Image Code" something to that effect. Make sure you are using that URL and not the one at the top of the screen.
The top of the screen is a URL only viewable by the owner of the photobucket account, it allows for editing and things of that nature.
