That is what I think killed Paxia, not the larger amount of clans as that just increased the competitive, but the losing battle we are currently fighting.


I will agree that the current situation in Paxia is partially due to this tedious "war" but I still think it's a bit too spread out. I didn't say it was the only reason, but you can't say that it hasn't contributed.

Rohn, it only contributed a small bit to the forums. I can't exactly remember a gush of people getting here for defences always

No, but think about it, any number divided by 8 is smaller than divided by 3. I'm not only talking about the forum either, in general it would make sense.

it still doesn't quite explain how we got to -200000+ in the first place

Given what's happened to Lucian recently, it wouldn't be surprising if they did.

In all fairness, our current situation is due in large part to a year+ long neglect of actually TRYING to participate in this setup. All we did was complain about there being nothing to do while this issue was staring us right in the face. We are now trying to correct that and making amiable admirable progress in that endeavor.

It isn't like a coordinated effort from other clans that got us there really, Paxia does not nearly have enough active people to bring us down that much. Its just that Aerodu has monsters which are way too farmable, gives amazing exp for high leveled characters. The KoO are trying to balance the pools, I mean if you can fight a FlibbitiestGibbest(3) while attacking Aerodu and they give upwards of 30k exp per battle, it will attract high level people to farm here. All in all, we are still trying to defend and have split our efforts somewhat to help Paxia as whole, as I believe that anything that affects Unity will somehow affect the other 8 clans as well.

We're still above -200,000 and Unity is above -75,000 so I guess we're doing ok. Making a bit of progress.

Above negative 200k? Why, I'm sure if I had been keeping up with all those unhappy, useless numbers I would be impressed.

And I'm not sure how adding more clans originally affected us, but I don't think it makes much difference if there are three clans or thirty...we could have intricacies of subdivisions one could barely muster and still pull it off, if we had people...

Loyal, shmoyal. You come here because there still a hope for an update, and that falls into the optimism category. Would you still come here if the staff announced that there would never be an update for Paxia ever again? If you answer his question with "Yes" then you're lying, to us and maybe even to yourself.
