Hello everyone :D
I will cut to the chase, and get down with the suggestions ,

When you PM someone the limit , in which you can Pm them is 4900 letters.
This is very irritating , when it comes to Pming people long things, and the pm must be divided up into about 4 posts.
Not everyone needs to Pm others with 4900 words plus, but at the moment i am currently working on a guide , and yes its a very big guide , and its a joint guide, so pming seperate messages , can get confusing , and inbox spammy.
So the suggestion is to increse the number of words.

Secondly , and this suggestion , is actully aimed at long posts too :

when you have a load of writing, like when writing up a guide , and then you make something bold , after doing so , the bar at the side goes back to the top of the message, and if its very long, you may loose where are.
My suggestion would be, to stop that from happening.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

As to the first: If the message is longer than 4900 characters, you may want to try using a site like PasteBin, which will let you send somebody a much longer message while only needing the actual PM to contain a single link. The PM system was never really meant for sending entire guides to people.

Second: This is not something our forums do, it's your browser that causes it to happen. Firefox definitely does it, Internet Explorer does not if I recall correctly. If you're using firefox and don't want to switch browsers you can download the add-on called BBCodeXtra which will make it easier to place formatting tags on text without the text window scrolling back up to the top.

If you set up a Google account, you can use Google Docs.

It allows any number of people to edit a single document at the same time, and only the creator of it needs an account.

It has much, much more space than the forums.

^ Whoops, what a strange outcome of breaking a link in half.

phoenixfire555 :
Yes , i was aware of pastebin , its a pretty good site , however , sometimes going onto other sites , Takes longer, even if just copying and pasting it .

2 . Ahh , well if thats the case , then that question is answered.

lonewulfy :
Thanks for those link , i will go and look at some now.

And if there is nothing more to add on here , i guess this topic can be locked, and sent to the paste bin , i mean rubbish bin .[;)]
