sacchi -> Reason for thread deletion? (5/27/2010 16:12:42)

I recently did a thread in the Paxia board with the title "Clan Stereotypes". As far as I'm concerned, the thread broke no rules yet it was deleted. Since I made the thread pretty recently (a few days), I'm sure that the thread wasn't automatically deleted by the boards due to inactivity. I would like to know the reason why it was deleted.

I asked Ultrapowerpie, one AK of the Paxia boards. Should I just ask all the other AKs?

Thanks in advance.

Yes that is always the best thing to do before posting about it here. You should have been sent a PM with the reason the thread was deleted but sometimes we forget to send it or it specifies in the rules that if a thread breaks a certain rule it will be deleted with no notification. If you can not get a reason or a response from anyone that works in that section then you can ask why it happened here so you can find out what rule may have been violated or if there was a different reason for the deletion.

Edit : @Armakuny - I believe he meant just the other AKs that work in that section :)

Only a mod or an AK of the section is able to lock/delete threads, other AKs are not able to do it = no need to contact them & in normal case you receive a message from the person stating why it got deleted!

Well, in that case there are not many who come into question, but I know how he feels I always hated it to get a thread deleted without even a notice!

Alright, I'll contact the others AKs of the board then. Thanks for answering.
