The "normal" way would be using a image command [image]linkhere[/image], but embedded images are not allowed in posts. What you can do is link to the art in your post.
Once you host your image on a site like Photobucket or Tinypic, you can copy the URL and use it like this: [link=urlhere]here's my entry![/link].
After doing that, it would look like this: look at the forum homepage! For more information on forum commands, take a look at this guide.
