Spikes on the floor? I may have skipped this when I read the arena's description. I'm making my post right as we speak.

V_J, there was some miscommunication at the beginning. IIRC, there are no spikes on the floor, just ones on the walls, and then the pedestal in the middle with four blades at varying heights, pointing in each of the four cardinal directions.

superjars has brought to my attention that it may appear that Illian is kneeling while praying. In fact he is standing, face and palms upturned.

And a note--in the upcoming posts it may seem as if I reacted instantly to Cassivo's attack, retconning to make myself better able to survive. I had actually penned the first part of this post--including the formation of the Light Shield--before Cassivo initiated, and I've confirmed this with superjars. I will post an expanded version of the earlier draft.

Posted. I'm assuming the spikes can be charged a bit with electricity. He's not attempting to keep the charge there, just siphoning off the extra energy.

Assassin versus assassin? This ought to be good!
Simonaque has countered and charged, attacked with a hit and run maneuver of her own, and has retreated while she plans a second strike. I've also given Anfur a chance to cause some damage in there.

I'll begin working on a post immediately, but I'll wait for some other people to post before I get mine on here.

I'm getting the distinct feeling that it will most definitely be an EPIC fight with a side of awesomeness and a touch of WOW sauce on top.

The character that is an obvious tribute to Yoda the amazingly epic green hairless moglin of Daguba is purple?
On the other hand, this shows how little attention most of us pay to the actual information contained in certain parts of bios when we're not hosting.
Now I either want to fix that tiny mistake in my first post or make it sound like Simonaque was having a temporary hallucination due to jitters.

@Silv: Someone else has posted! YES! More fighting between two assassins! You can tell I'm excited, can't you?

It's like watching The Clubs and Weavers RPs for new posts while working on my own responses for them...
