There are a number of reasons why we don't inform people when their suggestions are being used. First, we don't want to create false hope or expectation. We can't always implement an idea as quickly as we might like. We don't want people waiting months or even years for a suggestion to be implemented. Second, we want to minimize bragging and people doing things which might make us regret planning to use their suggestion. Imagine if we get a good suggestion from a person and tell them so, and then they go around posting things like "The staff are planning to use my suggestions out of all these others. That means YOUR suggestions just SUCK and mine are AWESOME." Obviously we wouldn't want to use that person's suggestions anymore. Third -- well, it goes on and on. We read every suggestion. That honestly should be enough.
