Different ways to get banned (Full Version)

I'm aware that extremely offensive, discouraging and overall negative behaviour on forums will lead to warnings and possibly temporary and even permanent banning.

However, I've encountered several other banned-titles, like Banned-multi, Banned: Requested, and some others, too, I think.

So, out of curiosity... what do those "special bans" mean, and what different ways there are to get banned from AE Forums?

Banned-multi - Member had more then one account on the forum. As you are only allowed one all others are banned.

Banned: Requested - Member requested account to be banned for a set time frame or forever.

I believe these and a regular ban are all there really is.

"Banned multi," if I recall correctly, means that you were banned for creating multiple accounts. "Banned: Requested" means that the individual in question requested a ban from one of the forum Moderators or Administrators, as you cannot delete your forum account; the requested ban is an alternative.

As for "the different ways to get you banned," any violation of almost any rule can get you banned, especially if it was grossly violated or violated many times over.
