To upload an image, you will need to use a fileshare site like photobucket or twitpic.

For indepth explanation, see the Detailed Sig Guide

No need to worry, it can be converted into a JPG etc file that is acceptable for the contest. This link shows you a screenshot of how to save it as the needed file type.

Powerpoints will be difficult, but a fileshare website would be what you need.

The video entries in the contest are most likely swf files, not powerpoints. You may need to reconsider which program you use for this contest.

You can certainly discuss with the other contestants in the AE Comic Contest Discussion thread.

As stated in the Sig Guide, go to a website like photobucket or twitpic to upload the file from your harddrive to the internet. Once it is uploaded, simply copy and paste the valid URL and link it using the link button here on the forums.

Remember: Because you are submitting this in the Comic Contest, make sure that once you have written your post, select the 'Preview' option at the bottom of the page. Once the preview shows up, click on the link t make sure that the link works.

i tried on twit pic and it wont upload
is there any way of uploading the jpeg directly to the post

Postmaster General -> RE: uploading (6/30/2010 17:42:05)

@Shellzer:No, jpg is a file type. It is merely a file on your computer. Before you are able to post it online, you must first give it a URL (web address). These file sharing sites give your images these URLs.

shellzer -> RE: uploading (6/30/2010 17:43:46)

it says when i try upload to twitpic please upload a picture

Digital X -> RE: uploading (6/30/2010 17:57:01)

Should be a large green button that says "Upload" click that then locate the Powerpoint file you just converted to a JPG.
