Um. Does changing my forum username also change my forum password?

When you contact Seahawk about the name change, he will change the name as well as give you a temporary password which will be provided to you.

Oh Crap. Can I ask him to send me a new password to a designated email by me? I have ask him to change my account name but I found out a fatal mistake. When I insert my email I didn't put in the .vn since i use VN yahoo. I don't remember why can I confirm my old email at that time even thought it's not even real.... /cry
Well If he didn't believe me that I am the one who request him to change my AE forum name then I will do ANYTHING,ANYTHING to proves it. Got any ideas? plzzzzz...

Lupus,

Check your PM box; you'll see a message from me shortly.

For everyone else:

Yes, having your name changed on the forums does indeed require your password to change. I can't keep it what it originally was, because while I can change passwords, I can't see what they currently are. So when your forum name is changed, you end up with a password inspired by some random object in my computer room... [;)]

This is yet another reason why it's very important to make sure you use a valid email address when registering for the forums, and also that you make sure to change your email address in your profile if you change emails or stop using an email account. IF your email is no good, your name change notification PM with your new temporary password will bounce back as undeliverable and you'll be unable to log in.
