Change the setting to always request receipt

If you check that box in your settings, you'll get a a PM (this is your receipt) whenever someone reads a PM you sent them. Its subject will be Read:[The subject of your PM], and it will have the date and time that the PM was read.

I mean I sent the PM THEN checked the box so will i get that PM?

Oh, hah, sorry. Couldn't tell that from your first post. No, it will only work from now on. Every time you start to compose a new PM, near the bottom you should see the option for saving a copy to the Sent folder as well as the one for requesting a read receipt. Selecting those options in your profile automatically checks those boxes for future PMs, but doesn't affect old ones.
