I was writing a very important debate club application,when i accidentally pressed "Back" And i lost my work. Is there a way to get it back without having to spend a couple of hours writing everything again?

Try going back (or forward) with your browser options, if possible. Other than that, you can't recover your work, sorry. I recommend saving a copy as you write (if it's very big or important) to avoid similar problems in the future.

Dang it.. next time ill not have more than one tab open at the same time... i just feel kinda down. But if anyone thinks they have tricks to recover the work, im still all ears.

No, that's really the only way, sorry. Your browser refershes the page, and once refreshed, it's gone.

Best thing to do is type it in word or something and then post it, that way you got a second copy of everything.

To add,
There is a way to get it back, but not in that situation.
If you delete a post, there is a recycle bin.
