Acient J -> Paxia/Houses Stickies in AQ/MQ GD (7/29/2010 8:47:48)

I suggest a sticky in AdventureQuest General Discussion telling players where to go to discuss Paxia and the same for Houses in MechQuest General Discussion. This would mostly be for newer forumites who might not look beyond the Artix Entertainment Games category.

Good idea, Support +1.

The problem is, I don't think new players are into Paxia at all... Just some old players visit it frequently and thats around 50 for all clans or something so yeah... But I think it would be handy(IMO) to let em read the stickies first(Which most of em don't...) to let them know that Paxia related stuff goes to the specific forum.

But, on the other side. Acient J still tries to bring activity to Paxia which is nice because it's a dieing forum...

Yes, it's an inactive forum, but that's not my main point here. (Although, the stickies could certainly increase its activity, which would be great for the loyal Paxia/Gears U members.) All I'm saying is that there are new players/forumites who would want a place to go to discuss their clan/house; some of them might look for this specifically, and some of them might just discover it and find it nice, possibly bring drawn into the inter-clan/house competitions.

Well, I think new players generally WILL stick to the GD somehow... Don't ask me why but it has the "power" to go spammy sometimes... So yeah. But I see your point but I don't think it will be useful to new players.

Sometimes there ARE new players who introduce themselves but never post there again(Great example of the dieing activity in Paxia on the forums. Even for the Houses of MQ for that matter.)
