Account issues are handled through the help pages. If you are worried about someone stealing your account due to an easy password, you are more than able to change it. Should your account be stolen, simply use the help pages and provide the proper information to get your account back.

The vast, vast majority of lost accounts come due to someone giving away their password. As long as you never do that, you probably won't have any problems. Just to be on the safe side, make sure your password is nothing obvious, like your name, "hello," or other easy to guess items.

Just wanted to add something here. The only way someone can successfully change a forum account password is to have the current password for the account, as well as access to the member's email with which he signed up for the forums. So even if does learn your forum account password, by whatever means, he wouldn't be able to completely take it over without knowing your email address and password.

I'd recommend using a different password for a forum account and the email account you use, if you want to be safe. That way, there's very little chance of a true account takeover. And should that ever happen, contacting the Help Pages is always an option.
