Ragsrun -> The Writings of Anonymous IV (8/11/2010 0:59:23)

Well, I'm not sure just exactly how many pieces of poetry I will actually put in here...but I'll post up one or two in the next few minutes hopefully. I still have to dig them out of my memory banks and computer, har har. Later when I've finally managed to get a poem up in here, I'll also toss up a comment thread into the Works Discussion area.

Now then, let's try kicking some tinder into the fire...

Edit: Andd...here's the link to the comment thread where you can choose to murder me or not! Don't worry about being reserved in comments, I'm quite used to harsher things by now. *slight smile*

(Such a great title for this poem, en't it? Xb Heh, anyways...if anyone can tell me exactly where the thought for this poem came from, do feel free to blurt out a guess!)

Nameless
Smooth white forms
Gracefully molded with
The best of hands
Twisted into uncanny shapes
Dipping in and out each other
Like masses of nerves

They wear these bones on their bodies
Otherworldly symbols of power
Ivory jaws, teeth, crests, skulls
Almost like Lucifer’s children
And yet they used to be
Just like you

“What are they?” You may cry
They are everything
And nothing at the same time

The pale one
Is void of expression
The essence of nobodies
Strumming a cello
Made of the blood tree’s flesh

A silver-haired youth
Makes his violin’s wants known
Dancing among
The plummeting rose petals

The one who laughs
With the delight of a child
Blows into the resounding horn
And creates Dark Matter

I am one of them
These noble demons who adorn themselves
And my fingers trill across the keyboard
As I evaporate back to dust

(Yes yes, I know have terrible trouble trying to come up with titles for my works. Be quiet. ><"

Also, the last stanza was originally edited by a teacher of mine at school, but I decided to edit it again myself here since I never did quite like what my instructor had done to it...but then again, I never told them what were my exact intentions behind this particular work, so they didn't know what I was attempting to portray...)

The End
Gray snakes reigned
In the stinging air
Musky and muffled
Glares of crimson streaming
From their place of play
Paralyzed
Was Father Time

Lone was the bird
Eyes piercing the scene
Flashing with passive gold
Too knowing of irrevocable fate

The afternoon moon
Lit all with doomed light
Bloodshot rays
Dead world

Unearthly music
Stunned the air
The beast had unlocked
Its celestial song
After eternal slumber

Fallen eclipse
It disintegrated forevermore
Into a wrathful and ruthless inferno
Never to rouse again

Apocalyptic creature
Singing its first and last melody
Enough to rewind the church bell
Enough to make the dove fall

Vanishing with outstretched wings
Welcoming the unavoidable end
With a fiery love
Soft, everlasting, dark

(Long story short: I woke up, thought of Shreder and Soul Weavers (Creepy, aye?), then thought of an AE-related story that I want to do sometime. This piece of writing here is, as its title says, a prologue.

...yes, I do still fail at naming. Be quiet. *sweatdrop*)

Prologue
A great flash cried and the victors howled,
“We’ve done it! We’ve done it! Oh, but what now?
The Sinlings are beaten, but their masters are still well!”
So the two started running. Not one of them fell.

And through the dark woods they kept on going
But, oh fate, ill fortune was showing.
The Corrupted Elementals encircled them
Smiling and laughing with a malicious din.
“Dearest Dolaeriel, I think we may die...
Envy, Wrath, and all you others...why?”

Alas, the sins made no answer
And simply kept on coming after.

“Tybira, my friend, please, just fly.
Now is the time for a final goodbye.”
Her Soul Ally gave out one final bang
And the young female was pushed out of the gang.
“Dolaeriel, please! You don’t have to do this!”
“Tybira, Tybira...it is my turn for the abyss.
Let me be at peace and see you run
And then my deeds here will be done.”

(Paragraph under contemplation...)
  • Reluctantly, sobbing, she would pick herself up and obey,
But under her torn and bloody breath, she did say,

“My beloved, I swear I will go after you.
And I will not hesitate to make this true.”

The Corrupted Spirits prevailed and the gauntlets dreadfully cracked

But the girl

just kept on

running.
