where do people get those little characters for their sig

I believe you're talking about the plushies right? Well either they are making their own and putting it into their sigs OR they are requesting them here: [Paint, Paint.net] Plushie shop. However, at the moment they are not accepting requests so you might have to wait. There are plenty of other Art Request Shops located in the Signature and Art requests forum, it would not hurt checking if any other shop is doing plushie signature requests?
