Sorry I didnt know if this belonged in Forum Support or the Gallery Q&A.

I have a banner that is 100KB too big.
If I save it as a .jpg, it becomes pixelated (which i HATE!) If I save it as a .gif, it becomes blurry (and i dont know how to change the settings!).
Its a .png right now. 200 something KB
How do I shrink it without altering it?

Yes, this should belong in the Gallery Q&A, as you said, due to the fact that this question is art-related.

Try croping (cutting) it to reduce its file size (and its dimensions).

If you want to send it to a friend or something and it is too big to send, save it in a .rar and send it.

Actually, using JPEG isn't all that bad to be honest, as long as you keep the quality slider right at the highest point, your image is not pixelated and it's quality is similar to that of a .png

I use GIMP and I dont know what you are talking about. =3 Sorry!

And Im not trying to send it. Im trying to put it as a Banner on my SigShop.
