Decadere Eldest Part 1: Before You Start Stats If you really want the edge while fighting the Decadere, you should retrain your stats to meet Nythera's personal needs. I find that training WIS and INT work best. WIS goes a long way, but INT does not. I recommend a 4-part-INT to 1-part-WIS build for players up to level 49. For levels 50+, train 200 INT and put the rest on WIS. Here are some examples. Level 20 INT: 75 WIS: 20 Level 40 INT: 155 WIS: 40 Level 60 INT: 200 WIS: 95 Potions You should also train your HP (Reens) and MP (Alina) alchemy. The more you train them, the better. Part 2: Know Yourself Embrace Your Destiny and the other DragonMage quests all use a unique class, Elemental Nythera. It is important that you understand each of its skills before you can use them in battle. Stun: stuns enemy, 2 rounds Razor Wind: hits all enemies with Wind damage Barrier: +255 Dodge, 5 rounds Flame: 5 hits of 150% Fire damage and Fire DoT for 4 rounds Rain: heals MP and HP for a small amount Unearth: 3 hits of 150% Nature damage, enemy get -50 Boost for 4 rounds Unleash: +40 Boost, 4 rounds Haste: 1 hit of scaled Light damage Roar: 4 hits of scaled Light damage Beam: 5 hits of scaled Light damage to random enemies Fiend: 1 hit of a large (unknown) amount of ??? (Void) damage Rapture: 1 hit of ??? (Void) damage and a 4-turn ??? DoT (regardless of whether or not it hits) Syphon: 4 hits of ??? (Void) damage, 50% of damage dealt is restored as HP Corruption: 4 hits of ??? (Void) damage, removes some of own HP Part 3: Know Your Enemy Decadere Eldest STR/INT/END: 25 DEX: 20 CHA: 6 LUK: 2 WIS: 0 Melee Def.: 1 Magic/Pierce Def.: 0 Block: 1 Parry/Dodge: 0 Crit: 2 Bonus/Boost: 0 HP/MP/Damage/Level/Rewards: Scaled Special Attacks Voided!- 50% damage and Energy DoT on you if it hits Power Strike!- 50% damage and -50 Boost to you if it hit Strike and Move- 100% damage and +140 Block/Dodge/Parry Part 4: Use Your Knowledge First off, if you're having trouble with the beginning monsters, use Stun then Roar. Against Decadere Babies, use Unleash before using Roar. The strategy for defeating the Decadere Eldest is all conditional. Your opponent is very unpredictable, so you need to be flexible. Start of Battle Stun Flame Unearth Rapture When "Power Strike" Unleash When "Strike and Move" (does not have to be in this order) Barrier Rapture Rain Beam Unearth Offensive Combo Stun Unleash Roar Fiend (If your HP is low) Corruption (If your HP is high) Defensive Combo Barrier Syphon Rain Unearth Beam Part 5: Rewards Everyone likes rewards, right? Well, you get VOID weapons for beating the Decadere Eldest and reuniting the Void Dragons! How cool is that? The drops are random, so you might need to try a few times to get the one you want.
