Miroku Kazaana II -> Avatar experiences lag while attempting to delete itself (9/8/2010 19:20:37)

Avatar experiences lag while attempting to delete itself. After I heard most of the avatars accidentally deleted themselves when the forum server was murdered, I went to see if my avatar still existed, and yes it did. It stayed like that. For a few days. But after a few days, my avatar realized that most of the other avatars had deleted themselves. Unable to cope with loneliness and depression, it deleted itself in despair.

(After the Forums crash, my avatar was fine, but after a few days it was deleted like everyone else's.)

My avatar was ClawOfTheGalin. Though I don't remember exactly where I chose it, I looked in the most likely spot (AQ/Monsters) and it was not there.

EDIT: I also looked in some more AQ folders to no avail
EDIT: The non-working avatar preview's link tells me that it was located in AQ/Misc. But, the avatar is not there.

At the moment, the Avatar folders have been disconfigured. Once Seahawk has worked out the issue, the avatar folders will return to normal.

So my avatar was taken down in order to help Seahawk reinstate the avatars?

Your avatar was most likely lost just like all the other during the forum crash. You probably still saw the avatar for a few days after the crash if your browser cache didn't update itself, in which case it would still show the original picture that was stored on your computer.

SeaHawk has everything on backup if the avatars can't be restored, so they'll be coming back eventually. You'll just need to wait for now, and you can always choose one of the available avatars until all the old avatars are fixed.
