Khelios -> Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/14/2010 20:07:57)

The gallery will be locked down for the next day or so for renovations - during this time, the gallery boards will disappear and it will be inaccessible until renovations are completed. Please do not make threads regarding it disappearing - we are aware of it because we are in the process of renovating it!

Thank you for your attention!

The Gilded DragonSlayer -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/14/2010 21:38:32)

Oh, that's what it's down for. Thought it was something worse, lol. If I may, though, what kind of renovations will we be seeing, Khelios?

Nexolous -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/14/2010 21:43:54)

Major changes of what I've heard. I honestly can't wait haha.

Angel of Grief -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/14/2010 22:10:22)

Wait...you aren't changing it so we don't need AA anymore, are you?
Take away my Approved Poet..and now my approved artist position?
;_;

Circe -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 0:55:47)

All done - go check it out. Any bugs, let me know.

@ Angel of Grief: Yeah, we did remove it. Sorry. Ultimately it was decided that we want the community at large to feel welcome participating in the forum rather than excluded based on membership or aptitude.

Zakristone -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 1:05:59)

So the Sig and Art request is down too? -.-

I was just gonna check if my request was done...

Ashari -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 1:10:39)

So the Artistic Requests is the new Sig & Art Request forum?

Also I'm glad you guys made this decision to open up the art forums. Getting people involved and contributing to the forums is definitely high priority. The whole application process felt like a huge hurdle. [:)]

Yes and indeed, that was one change that hopefully brings lots of people to the gallery! ~Khel

Zakristone -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 5:29:34)

Ok, so let me get this straight, the Gallery had just been renovated, and the Sig and art has a new name, AND all the shops from it have been deleted? (This is not a complaint btw).

Hmm...sounds okay to me.

skull505 -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 12:17:15)

Does that mean , that I have to set up my galley again ?

Postmaster General -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 13:23:44)

@skull505: Yes, Khelios posted a thread some time ago informing all to back up their galleries for future changes.

Undead zerker -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 14:06:32)

@sheriff duncan

*facepalm*

I For one didnt see that thread.......

When is it back up?

Green -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 16:10:45)

So with the new update, I can go make a gallery right now if I want? Or is there more that I have to do?

Go right ahead! ~Khel

coolboypai -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 16:31:01)

just a few questions
the gallery is done renovating right? is the approved artist status used for anything now?

Yes, the gallery should be done with renovations. And the Approved Artist status has no impact on being able to post in the gallery anymore! ~Khel

Postmaster General -> RE: Gallery Renovation - Read before panicking (9/15/2010 17:05:30)

@coolboypai: To quote Circe above:

As well as in regards to AA:

@Green: You should now be able to create a new gallery, or refresh your old one. There is no longer an application process to partake in the Galleries.
