Let's have a nice talk about surrealism.

I'll start with "What it is":

There isn't much to say, but i know of a Quote that fully explains Surrealism;

"Things are not always what they seem"

Here are a Few Examples of Surrealism, Along with the Artist:

In case you don't understand French, or are too lazy to see the comparison between words...
it says "This is not a Pipe"
This was created by Rene Margritte, one of the very Famous Surrealism Artist.

"The waterfall" Created by M.C Escher....
Think you've seen this before?

P.S: Escherion was named after Escher.

Along with the other most Famous Surrealism Paintings, "The Persistence of Memory" would have to be #1.
Created by Salvador Dalí.

Surrealism for me will always be Salvador Dali. He was the first surrealism-artist I encountered, and I loved his art from day one. I've been to his home, and to a few museums with his art (how awesome isn't it to actually be buried in the basement of a museum dedicated only to you?) and there's never a single boring moment when exploring his universe.

Gaudì is another surrealism-artist that I really love, his buildings in Barcelona (Park Guell!!!) are simply magnificent. I like how he combines both gothicism and surrealism in his art, those two styles work very well together (at least when made by him).

Considering there are prints from Salvador Dali's work pasted around my house, it would be safe to assume he is my favourite surrealism artist. However, I am quite partial to the work of MC escher. I found out about him when looking at the AQW design notes, and his work really is just interesting to look at.

I learned of MC Escher quite a few years back, maybe during 8th grade?
anyways, I've loved all of his tessellations, and I'm sure I loyal Fan of His.

I actually was excited when I saw that His work was going to be put into the Game. :D
