Probably the oldest digital art pack is depthcore.
With 40 chapters they are definitely the best.

Depthcores first release took place on June 17th 2002.
It can be found here: Click

Take a look at some of the pieces. Even today in 2010, you can see the influence they had on the graphic design scene.

Let's go two years into the future.

Pieces like day to day were definitely way ahead of their time and still are far more advanced than a lot of today's pieces.

As we head into 2008, depthcore releases my favorite chapter yet, Noir.
This chapter pushed the boundaries of digital art and only set depthcores name in stone even deeper.

Depthcores latest chapter, Mythic was released last summer on July 17th.
The chapter has a familiar face, Justin Maller who has been with the group since it's start in 2002.

It's really amazing to see how far they have come

That stuff is all amazing. Thanks so much for linking us to Noir, everything there is leaps and bounds ahead of most of the good stuff that I have seen.

Yeah, there's something about black and white art that is so sick.

Can't believe you linked Noir here, those are some of my favorite pieces of art on the internet.
