Drakyloid -> Suggestions Threads (10/17/2010 20:46:34)

Apparently, there's a limit to suggestion threads (all posts, in fact). This limits the amount of suggestions one can place in their suggestions thread.

Personally, I like making suggestions, and don't really care if they're implemented or not. I like to archive the suggestions I make in my suggestions thread and show it to others. However, I've hit the limit once. I had to get rid of some of my suggestions (fortunately, I had a few very old ones that I could scrap). This would get inconvenient when I have a full thread of great suggestions, and have more just to get assaulted by the limit.

I was wondering if you (I'm talking to you, Administrators, Moderators, Knights/Squires of Order and Suggestions AKs) could lighten up on the "one suggestions thread" a tad for those dedicated suggestion-writers. Perhaps you could allow one to create another suggestion thread if his/her older one(s) are maxed out. Alternatively, if it's possible, you could allow for more than one post by the author of the thread within that thread to make room more more suggestions. However, others would still not be able to post in another's thread.

What do you mean by the limit? The character limit for posts? Most people will never come close to hitting that, though if one does, they could just as easily move their suggestions into something like Google Documents and link those to their thread to conserve space.
