More helpful outside of AQW (Full Version)

Ive kinda noticed around the forums that there are more "helpful" in the Adventurequestworlds forums than the other areas of the forums.
I think I read somewhere that you can recommend people to the moderators, but it just seems like some areas are neglected.
Is there anything we can do to have moderatros reward those who are helpful, friendly, or consturctive outside of the AQW areas. Just because there are more people using the AQW questions area, doesn't mean that there aren't helpful people in other areas.

The selection is not based on a "board" factor: People are awarded with titles based on a criteria that is not limited at all by where they post. Odds are that since the AQW boards are more popular, a bigger number of forumites that fall in the criteria also frequent it.

While we are very vigilant regarding these factors, if you think someone deserves a title feel free to PM the head moderator of the board they frequent as it's possible he/she wasn't noticed. The forum staff has no control over who frequents what boards, so we can't create a "balanced" number of title persons per board as you're suggesting, but we work to make sure those who fall on the criteria are awarded properly regardless of the board they use. I know that, as I stated in the first post. But just because more people flock to AQW doesn't make the people in the other areas any less helpful.

I realize that we can submit names to moderators, but it just seems like there are way more to that area than any others. i just feel like some people might not get the same opportunities as others, just because they dont play AQW, or because they don't knw enough about that game to be considered helpful.

I think it's possible you misunderstood Kain's post, so I'll try to phrase it in a different way. What I think you're trying to get at is a perceived ratio skew of Helpfuls to the AQW boards. Implicit in that ratio, however, is a ratio of overall forum members to members frequenting the AQW section. Kain's point was that as there are larger numbers of members who frequent the AQW boards, it makes sense that there may be more Helpfuls in an absolute sense. If there are in the first place; I'm not sure I'd agree with that. The only thing that would really be problematic, though, is if there are relatively more members titled as Helpful, by which I mean, if the ratio of Helpfuls to total number of forum users is higher for those forums.

We don't wish to title members just because they frequent a specific sub-forum. I will say, however, that really in any forum, the forum staff is looking for new members to which we can award titles. If you notice more Helpfuls tend to post in a specific forum, it's probably due to the volume of users in said forum. Likewise, if a forum does not have many Helpfuled members, it's probably not because the head of the section does not like to title members as much as another.
