Ok, I've tried to find this rule and I can't find it, so my question is what do you do after the thread in question is at 9 pages, locked because it is almost ten, but you want the thread to continue. Would you make another one? Would it be a continuation of the first? Do you have to title it anything specific? Thanks. (Sorry if this is in the rules, but again I can't find the information).
Unless the locking moderator or Archknight says otherwise, when a thread is locked for length you are allowed to start a new one on the same topic. Generally you would use a similar title as the locked thread to indicate that you're continuing that discussion.
If you're unsure about when you can make a new thread, feel free to PM a moderator or Archknight of the board in question and ask.
If I am not the OP of the 10 page thread, may I continue that thread or do I have to wait for the OP of that thread to create a continuation? Should I get permission? (essentially what I am asking is if I can hijack a thread that is locked or must I have permission). Thanks very much.
Nothing requires you to wait for the Original Starter of the previous thread, although if you're uncomfortable about doing it without their permission you can PM them and ask first.
