When it comes down to it, I think a lot of it is the peoples attitudes. Not just on this site, because people have fairly good attitudes here, but on almost every other. Sure there is harsh criticism, but on a few sites that I've been to, if you aren't on par with there level, they will shun you. This is what makes people stop, and its a bad thing to see.
And I agree about the vocab topic, I can perfectly comment on any flash users art, barely knowing there terms. And really they aren't much different tbh. Flash and PS are both made by adobe.
There are many similar terms. I think everyone should just take a little more effort and make this a community again, it won't really help tagging as a whole, but it will help here and thats something that
is always good :).
