I'm new to this forum and I'm from the ED forum FrostLich, I just want to ahve a link to get an image for my avatar and its not offensive so can I do that??

Well you can't put it on the avatar, but instead you could put it in your signature.

For example, if you wanted to link your signature to Google, you'd do this. 

[link=http://www.google.com][img]http://i55.tinypic.com/2r383u1.jpg[/img][/link]


Which would give the result:

[img]http://i55.tinypic.com/2r383u1.jpg[/img]

Just make sure you read the rules and everything just so you're sure that your link won't break the rules.
