Can I suggest there be a command of the sort that enable users go back to the top of the post? I am not talking about the one at the end of the post but rather in between where you are reading halfway of the page. A simple jump would be much better than to click and scroll. The equipment comparisons threads have rather stretchy and there need to be a way to provide better and convenient reading.

well you could always just use the 'home' or 'page up' button on your keyboard...
not sure what the commands are for a mac or laptop though. but i know there is one

Honestly, I fail to see why a button that takes you to the top of the page would be useful.
I don't think its worth implementing when it takes less than 5 seconds to get to the top of a page regardless of its length. Its also rare to come across pages that are long enough to bother you to scroll to the top of anyway, so I would give this idea a miss.

Me too. There's a scroll bar on the side that you can click and hold on to drag the page up to the top.

A rare occasion, yes but not when you are a frequent user of pedia index and comparisons threads.. I remember suggesting a method to counter the lengthy pedia index post to Scakk before, seemed like the solution didnt make it. Hmmm.

There is one. Look at the bottom right of any post. It should say "Post #: (number)" beside that is a green arrowing that will lead you to the top of the page.

Yes, but that is at the end of the post. I want that exact function inside the post. In between paragraphs of the sort. That way, I can make a quick jump from the middle of pedia index such as, for example the 'P' category, to the top.
