Ashari -> Looking For Faction Sticky in EpicDuel Factions (12/30/2010 16:37:38)

I PMed Sysquella about this a while ago, but I've yet to get a response. So here's the idea:
I feel like a Looking For Faction Thread in the EpicDuel Factions subforum would be a great help for ED players. Right now, there really isn't a place a player can go if they need a faction besides asking randomly in-game. You might have noticed there aren't too many ED Factions that have made pages in the Recruitment Forum, so there aren't many options for new players that don't know people in ED and need a faction. The few factions that have made threads are mostly very active and highly competitive factions that wouldn't be appropriate for newer or more casual players.
A sticky where anyone could post that they are looking for a faction would help a lot. The format for it could be very simple:
[b]In-Game Name:[/b]
[b]Level:[/b]
[b]Class:[/b]
[b]1v1 Record:[/b]
[b]2v2 Record:[/b]
[b]Prefered Alignment:[/b] Legion / Exile / Either
[b]Notes about yourself:[/b] your daily wins; how active you are; any other notes Interested faction officers or leaders could then PM these players offering to recruit them.
A lot of factions, especially newer or casual factions, aren't going to bother making a recruitment thread but if there was a thread that they could just check on for potential recruitees, then those people would be able to find factions. On top of that, since faction officers and leaders will be checking the EpicDuel Factions forum more frequently, it might encourage more factions to get involved in the CHG forum and post their own threads.
Thoughts? I'd love to hear what the CHG staff think about this.
