Hey guys . I just wanted do know do you feel insulted when someone calls you " a noob " . Do you think that this should be counted as an insult and do you feel offended ? I , myself , don't find the word insulting ,but rather they way it's said and the meaning behind it , which makes me sad as every second person in ED uses it . I just got out of the match with one of the leaders on 1v1 all-time and I was very shocked and very saddened to see those kinds of words coming out of this person . Not going to mention who he/she is , but ... what do you think ?

I feel offended or amused, depending on the situation. If a person calls me 'noob' because he got a streak of pure luck, that's not very nice. If a person calls me 'noob' while he's on his knees with absolutely no chance of winning...that's just funny. But either way I don't think it's good to insult anybody in any situation, even if your luck has been horrible and you just want to take it out on someone.

If you feel indignant because you have been insulted, think of it this way. Whoever insulted you probably has an inferiority complex and wants to feel superior to you in any way he can, even in a computer game. Be glad that you're not him.

The word 'noob' may warrant an ingame report, as mentioned in the =ED= Ingame Reporting.
