Level 25 in just under 2 weeks, where my main took half a year to get from level 27 to 29. This means one or more of the following: a) I have become severely obsessed with ED b) Once you hit level 27, this game becomes EVILLY difficult to level up due to a top-heavy population c) The exp required hits a stupidly steep slope past level 26 d) TMs are UPed, while BHs are godly. e) Varium advantages increase a player's likelihood of winning by as much as tenfold To be honest, ALL of the above worry me, and while I do not mean to complain, I am simply very bothered by the points above. I've been playing this game for over a year and it's true, I got to lvl 25 just as the founders armor went rare, and now Its taken me over 1 year to get to lvl 31. I think that the exp required to get from lvl 30-32 is way too much ( you need over 2000 1v1 wins)

Precisely my point. 1 year to go up 6 levels?! I may as well give up on my main until they raise the level cap.

Well if you look at it in terms of experience, level 25 is less than 17% of the total experience needed to get to level 32. The leveling curve increases drastically after level 25, but the XP rewards remain the same throughout all the levels. At least it doesn't look like its going up any further though, both level 31 and 32 required the same 13580 experience. The leveling curve could really use another look over, since you get through the first 25 levels pretty quickly then you just hit a wall.

When you make your first account, it takes a long time to level up because you've never played it before, but when you make a new account you level up fast because you already have past experience. Don't worry about it, my first account went from level 1 to level 30 in 4 months but it only took 3 months from level 1 to level 32 on this one. [;)]

Took me half a month/3 weeks to get to level 30, a week to get to level 31, and 2 days to get to level 32. Just farm more, and be more active, and you'll get there ;]

Looking back, I had so many newbie mistakes when I first started! I think it took me about 4 months to hit the level cap and most of my losses are still from my pre-30 days! @Cinderella: You slowpoke! [;)]

@evreyone who thinks 1 year is alot: Yes. I'm a very casual player, and I was a caster Mage for the best part of the year until I found that battle mages are way better @Cinderella: Nope, I was lvl 27 when the lvl cap went up to 31

It took me 7 months to get 1-32 im so addicted at least its a good time playing im not wasting my life im still in school and in summer i go TO THE BEACHES TO RELAX and other places [:D] :D Hnmm i see you love game as much i do [:)] Ikr i kill non-variums so much ,but i cheer them up because i hate seeing sad cyber people lol

Hmm. If you really wanted to level up you sure could have, it's not a flaw in the game. I started playing mid Dec. and by May I was level 30 and number 1 on the All time 1v1 list. I was the first player to level up from 30 to 31 in about 1 day and I took a leisurely 4 days to level up to 32. The game hasn't changed much since I started playing, if anything it's gotten easier to make a good build and get good equipment. There are far more options and ample opportunities to get wins and level up. There are also more sources of information on how to level up fast available now. When we started, information was thin to non-existent. I have to agree with Angel (I think she meant friend not fiend), leveling up is another right of passage we all had to do. It is designed to give you time to develop strategies to assist you in defeating your opponents. If you rush through it you will miss the learning opportunities and be a lesser player for it. Nothing can be done if you don't have varium. The game values players who support it and gives them an advantage accordingly. We all had to fight through level 30 players when we were 25. We had far weaker weapons back then and terrible armors. We all seemed to get through it and so will you.

it took me less than a month to reach lvl 30 without varium and as a tech mage i didnt know about npc so i didnt get any help from that.i suggest you npc every hour on the hour it aproximately took me a motnh and a half to lvl up to 32. it also depends if you have varium or if you have skill. ive seen new players lvl quickly because they can spam ex boosts and then there are the skilled players that lvl up slowly but gain the ability to make your own builds and uderstand this game.the players that just spam varium wont really learn anythin,theyll just be wasting there varium on every weapon they see looks cool and not really pay attention to the stats or even if its a physical or energy weapon.

when I herd of npc I learn on my third account. thi s one here is my 5th account. fay beee help me out on 1vs1 alot when first start 1vs1.

I wasn't really asking for advice on levelling up lol, but what I was trying to point out is that the exp system of ED is very unbalanced.

@Xendran That makes u a legend of ED :} @Angels I went through it bad lol you know my record BTW I got 3k kills for my record :D Im bringing it up BTW i do more wins when im happy O.o thats why when you were asking me to do wins i wasn't ,but now i am :D Im so if i get sad alot its hard to see people leave this game and complain

i got to lvl 25 in first day. after i kinda got bored founder came out. was gonna buy it. couldn't so i quit the game. i had a record of like 300-20 without NPCs on first day :D (didn't know how to fight NPC at the time)
